What’s Up, I’m Nicole :)
I’m a curious observer, natural problem solver, and empath. I notice the little things, from subtle shifts in expression to the questions others might miss, and often sense what someone needs before they know how to ask for it.
I bring that instinct into design - looking beyond what people say to uncover what they truly need and turn those insights into clear, thoughtful, human experiences.
Proud birth mom of two. Both cats.
I’m raising two cats who have absolutely no idea what I do for a living. They do, however, have very strong opinions about my work hours, chair selection, and personal space. Their contribution to my career remains questionable, but their presence is non-negotiable.
I capture what I notice.
I take photos because I’m an observer. I want to show you the world the way I see it – the shadow on wet pavement, the shoe that doesn’t quite sit right, a crow waiting for my mom who feeds it.
I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember.
Seriously – one of my core memories is being around three years old, drawing Kim Possible on a beach paddle while watching the show.
I think that’s where my habit of looking closely started – lines, shapes, expressions, tiny details I couldn’t leave alone.
Apparently, I like a challenge.
Creativity seems to follow me wherever my hands can move.
These days, that sometimes means designing an interface – and sometimes it means hanging upside down from a piece of fabric.
